I am experiencing a lot of study-related stress and I cannot easily relax. What can I do about this?
Stress results from having more to bear (load) than you can bear (capacity). The key is to create a balance between effort and relaxation. This will ultimately benefit your performance. You can learn to relax by doing relaxation exercises. You might also consider following a mindfulness course to live more in the ‘here and now’. This is something the student psychologists can help you with.
The University also offers personal developement workshops that address issues such as stress management and relaxation.
