Electives space – how much do I have and how can I fill it?
The amount of space reserved for electives in your Leiden Bachelor’s programme varies from programme to programme. Take a look at the programme-specific information in the e-prospectus or student website for exact details, or ask at your Education Information Office.
You can use your electives space to do a minor, follow separate courses, study abroad, undertake an internship or do a research project. If you want to follow a complete minor programme (30 ECs), advance permission is not required. For all other options you must always request permission from your study programme’s Board of Examiners.
For more information see your programme’s e-prospectus pages or Course and Examination Regulations. You can also ask your study advisor for assistance.
